My Passion

I have come to realize that photographing people gives me great joy and satisfaction.  I love capturing the emotion and character of my clients or the connection and energy between loved ones.  By being spontaneous and relaxed, I am able to connect with my clients and put them at ease to reveal their sincere nature in my images.

My photographic style can be described as relaxed, fun, arty, contemporary and spontaneous.  I enjoy experimenting with new ideas, funky poses and creative lighting techniques.

I try to explore this art form to the fullest by allowing myself to do all kinds of photography.  This includes wedding-, studio-, lifestyle-, architecture-, corporate-, sport-, landscape- and fine art photography.  By being diverse, I am constantly challenged to learn new skills and techniques that can only improve me as a photographer.

Studio Photography

I have a professional, photographic studio where a variety of photo shoots can be conducted.  This includes the photographing of babies, toddlers, pets, families, business portraits and large groups of up to twenty people.  The studio has a floor area of more than 70 m2 with several different backgrounds and lighting options. 

The atmosphere in my studio is always relaxed and very comfortable, especially when working with kids.

Event Photography

I have photographed events, functions and editorials all over South Africa.  An important part of my events photography service is the ability to do on-site-printing.  This means, I can supply professional, photolab quality prints at an event, only seconds after the image was taken.  At such functions, I normally have a viewing facility where the guests at the event can view the images and make their selection.  This is made possible by a wireless file transfer system connected to the camera.  Images are sent directly from my camera to the viewing station without the need for a card reader.  This significantly improves the effectiveness of the on-site-printing facility.
