These are the Pumas…Mpumalanga’s rugby team…own pom-pom girls…and guys. Did you see them on TV? I shot them individually and then stitched them together to create the group shots.
There is something in Secunda’s water…..something that produces twins. None of my other photographer friends across the country shoot as many twins as I do. A big congrats to Pieter and Corne with Maré and Suné that’s on the way. I’m so blessed and privileged to be part of your greatest gift.

This was a tough shoot….but sooooo much fun. Tough, because the normal feminine lighting techniques no longer applies when you are photographing a female bodybuilder. You need hard shadows to accentuate the muscles, but soft shadows to flatter the female face. The glamour lighting workshop I attended a week ago didn’t say anything about bodybuilders???...
